In the United Kingdom, parking authorities are not as generous as their Ontario counterparts who simply issue parking tickets. In the U.K. they will actually clamp your car as seen in the above photo! However, a small claims court in the United Kingdom decided to clamp down on clampers in what is described as a pleasantly surprising decision. This could open the floodgates to other victims of clamp downs according to the news report.
